The successful candidate requires:
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS;
- The Administrative Assistant performs general administrative duties related to administration, clinical service and health promotion by maintaining appropriate records and information and providing administrative support.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES;
- Provide secretarial services by minute taking for team meetings, typing letters, reports, and related materials.
- Manage senior management email.
- Manage a call center.
- Maintain files, take telephone messages and answer general enquiries.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with policies established by Board of Directors.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in office administrative practices and procedures.
- Minimum of five years’ administrative experience of progressive responsibility, preferably in a human service organization.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, and possess excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with staff to ensure an effective and efficient working environment.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of personal computers and various word-processing and data base packages.
- College Degree in Office Administration or combination of High school Diploma and several years’ experience.

The successful candidate requires:
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS;
- The Health Information Systems Assistant will assist the Health Information Systems Leader oversee the implementation of strategic information technology solutions in order to improve client care and public accountability.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES;
- Develop training manuals, facilitate and maintain comprehensive training for users of Information Systems within the Health Centre;
- Provide assistance to users in troubleshooting microcomputer applications;
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading hardware and software to reflect advances in technology and changing organizational needs;
- Support health professional staff though the provision of adhoc report creation;
- Perform duties related to the Local Area Network (LAN) management;
- Perform duties related to the Wide Area Network (WAN) management;
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly backups;
- Assist in maintaining Health Centre Electronic Health Records System;
- Develop tailored templates in the Purkinje Systems for health care professional Staff;
- Ensures Enrollment Guidelines are implemented;
- Develop Acrobat PDF read and write forms;
- Assist in develop Data Information Reports;
- Develop user manuals and train health care professionals;
- Perform Data Extraction Error Correction;
- Create provider codes on Purkinje System;
- Perform initial group registration on Purkinje System;
- Perform format editor functions on Purkinje System;
- Maintaining the telephone Systems;
- Maintain Health Centre Intranet;
- Maintain Health Centre Website;
- Some weekends and after hours expected;
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Diploma in Computer Science, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required
- Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in an Information Systems environment
- Strong analytical skills combined with very good report-writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work under minimal supervision
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 Servers such as SQL Severs, Exchange Servers, Terminal Servers
- Knowledge and experience in Neverfail Redundancy Servers
- Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server architectures
- Training and Teambuilding skills.
- Experienced in consulting with Stakeholders, Clients, End Users, Executive staff on business issues, solutions and technical concepts.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
